list literal gotcha and suggestion

Josh,

You've been very understandable throughout this discussion; I
appreciate your public willingness and candor thought. Stephen and I
(and probably a few others) have raised a few "gotchas" /  "puzzlers"
that appear to be pretty serious with the current proposal. Will you
be able to take those into consideration before anything gets cemented
in stone, and perhaps share any proposed updates regarding those?
