CFV: New Compiler Group Member: Dan Smith

|I hereby nominate Dan Smith to Membership in the Compiler Group.

Dan has been working closely on Compiler Group projects since
joining Oracle in November 2010.  He has been heavily involved
in design, specification, and JCP work for Lambda, and also
participated in discussions about Coin; he often analyzes bugs
and participates in code reviews for JDK 8 (and formerly JDK 7).
Previously, he received a PhD studying compilers, programming
languages, and type systems at Rice University.
