Review Request for JDK-8007546: ClassCastException on JSR308 tests

Hello,

Please review this patch, which fixes an error causing
ClassCastExceptions in several JCK tests.

Note: this also fixes JDK-8015992, which was a duplicate of JDK-8007546.
