src/jdk.compiler/share/classes/com/sun/tools/javac/util/StringNameTable.java line 111:

This can use `instanceof <pattern>` to match `Utf8NameTable.NameImpl::equals`:
Suggestion:

            return (obj instanceof NameImpl name)
                && table == name.table
                && string.equals(name.string);
