Hi,

I hereby propose the dissolution and archival of the Compiler Grammar Project.

The project was created to investigate the possibility of creating an ANTLR
grammar for the Java language. That work has concluded, and there has been
no activity on the mailing list since April 2015 [1], other than this thread.

With that in mind, and in accordance with the Bylaws [2], I would like
to ask this Project's Committers to vote to dissolve and archive the
Compiler Grammar Project. At that point its mailing list and repository will be
closed for further contributions.

Votes are due by COB on August 26, 2024.

Only current Compiler Grammar Committers [3] are eligible to vote
on this nomination. Votes must be cast in the open by replying
to this mailing list.

For Lazy Consensus voting instructions, see [4].
