I'm trying to configure the Java runtime to use SunPKCS11 as the default security provider on a SLES11 64-bit box. I was following the documentation at:
http://download.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/security/p11guide.html
The above doc says that the SunPKCS11 provider requires an implementation of PKCS11 v2.0 or later to be installed in the form of a shared library.
Does anyone know where I can find the shared library I would have to install for SLES 11 64-bit?
I found an opensc-pkcs11.so file under /usr/lib64/pkcs11 but I'm not sure whether that's the one I should use. I installed it following the directions in the above doc (editing the java.security file and specifying the path to the .so in a config file), but when I run a sample Java program that prints the list of services of this provider, this list comes up empty.
