Hi,

  I'd just want to point out that there is an open bug and proposed 
patch to optimize UUID even further (which would conflict with your 
patch): https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8006627

  Wouldn't it generally be better to break apart library changes 
(Integer/Long) from applied optimizations to ease backporting etc?
