Cools results! Can you give a few details, what OS is this (Linux?) and
how did you set the clock back (date?)?

Did you also try to change the
(system) timezone (I think this is not possible on Linux to affect
running java?) or wait for a DST change (i.e. set date short before
DST/ST or vice versa?)

You did not test with ntp/adjusttime, right?
