Should Java support ERROR_NO_MORE_FILES when canonicalizing paths on Windows?

Does nobody care about that request or am I not even received by
others on the list? In the first case, is anyone willing to tell me
where I should ask instead?

I'm not allowed to file bugs against the OpenJDK-project and filing a
bug in the Oracle-bugtracker doesn't seem to care anyone at all as well.

It's only one line of code making totally sense to be added, because
the same place already handles lots of exceptions to documented
Windows-behaviour.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen,
