@fabioromano1 I'll resume reviewing your PR in the next couple of days.
The intent of the 4 weeks long pause from my last comment is to make sure that I'm still able to read and understand the code and the comments, as if I were completely new to them, like a reviewer unfamiliar with your contribution.

In the meantime, please also merge master into your branch.
