Backporting of JDK-8362123

Now that JDK-8162123 has been fixed in 26/main (
https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/commit/d5a207994b9c374e6638e57826326f8f4593b96b),
and considering that the fix is a clean cherry-pick (including test
coverage) and is in a non-performance sensitive area. What's the process to
go about getting this backported to JDK 21 & 25?
