[crac] RFR: 8361124: [CRaC] Move recursive checkpoint test to simengine [v3]

 - Merge remote-tracking branch 'openjdk-crac/crac' into recursive-cr
 - Improve exception handling in recursive C/R test
 - Fix recursive checkpoint test
 - Make dev engines less confusing
