Message-ID: RESENDING BECAUSE I FORGOT TO BECOME A MEMBER BEFORE SENDING THE FIRST ONE. Hello CSR Review Group, I am making my second ever attempt at a PR in Java. Alan Bateman took a look at my PR and said that I need a CSR. https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8324718 https://github.com/openjdk/jdk/pull/17603 I took a look at the CSR FAQ, but it told me to do things that aren't available on my screen. I am supposed to click a button that isn't there. I explained it in more detail on my GitHub link. How do I make a CSR? Thank you for your time and help! I will start hunting around for a sponsor. Also, what is the best way to get a JBS account? What would I need to do to be able to get one? Thank you for your time and help! The starting point for proposals for new APIs is to discuss and get some agreement first. As the OpenJDK developer's guide puts it "Socialize your change" [1]. Starting with code and PR is often counter productive as the starting point for APIs. -Alan [1] https://openjdk.org/guide/#socialize-your-change -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
