Source tarballs

Hi everyone,
can anyone explain me the new philosophy of distributing the OpenJDK 
sources especially for non-hg-users? I've already drawn and built former 
releases as tarballs but now as of build b24 the download link points to 
something appearing like the root directory of the repository. I 
couldn't find anything that looks like neither a source tarball nor a 
description of how to download the sources in any other way.
Any help would be appreciated.
