EXPERIMENTAL open repositories live

Mark, you mentioned on IRC that I should email to the list about this.

I installed the forest extension the way you described and hg is 
throwing errors.  On the page for the Forest extension it says this:-

    As of 9/3/2007, the version at this repository does not load or work
    correctly under Mercurial 0.9.4. Simon is presently consolidating
    updates, and hopes to have a new version for packaging shortly. --- shap

My system is Ubuntu 7.04 and mercurial is 0.9.3.  They mention this 
BatteriesIncluded package but it seems to be an installer for Windows 
(ick).  They do say something about an older version of forest which is 
still compatible.

Any suggestions?

BTW, I did find that cloning individual repositories works.  That could 
be a workaround

    dherron at dherron:~/openjdk/hg$ hg clone
    http://hg.openjdk.java.net/jdk7/MASTER/corba
    destination directory: corba
    requesting all changes
    adding changesets
    adding manifests
    adding file changes
    added 1 changesets with 1368 changes to 1368 files
