Google Summer of Code 2008

Hi everyone,

Are there any plans for OpenJDK to try and participate in Google's
Summer of Code this year?  The deadline for mentoring organisations is
March 12th.  With the Innovation Awards taking place as well, it may
just be too much to deal with simultaneously however.
