This is surely true, but Hotspot is one of the best VMs out there, would
be sad to enter in a "forever-bugfix-only" version, in case development
goes on the closed side.

Btw, referring to your previous post (starting from "The future is what
we make of it" and quoting all of it), Mark, you're definitely one of
the best Poets of the Free Software Generation :)

I would like to see some feedback from Sun/Oracle, there hasn't been
much so far, not even at Fosdem, looks like all the band stays hidden
waiting for some signal that they are free to speak, that's my
impression of course, but so far nobody has really said a single word...

Come on, guys, we still need you :)
