Open build & test infrastructure

Hi,
In the last few months, the LJC (London Java Community) have been
running AdoptOpenJDK hack sessions - designed to get more developers
started with OpenJDK development.
Whilst we've been running the sessions, we've met a lot of people who
are interested in making the build and test of OpenJDK easier. It
seems that there's a lot of desire to improve things, and a lot of
knowledge and useful software held by various parties which they may
be interested in sharing.
For example, at the LJC we have some scripts used to build simple VMs
for teaching purposes, and we have heard that others have
complimentary software which could be contributed.
So, this post is to call attention to this area, put out a public call
for interest (and ask potential participants to speak up), and see if
there is critical mass - and what suitable next steps should be.
In particular - if people are interested & at JavaOne, please let me
know - let's try to organise & meet up whilst a large number of people
are physically in the same space.
Thanks,
Ben
