Can I know why you ask, or what you imply -if anything-?. I only asked
why the choice.

Perhaps there´s some hidden package in ubuntu 12.04 that gives
hotspot, I don´t know. I´m just following the options presented after
typing "java -version" on a fresh Ubuntu installation.
