Membership renovation

Hi all,


According to the bylaws:

"""
Every OpenJDK Membership is subject to automatic Expiration after one
year, but will be renewed upon request
"""

It doesn't say the address to ask for this. Also, I believe a number of
members didn't really realise this rule, and it's not clear if we will
receive a mail asking us to take action or we will just have our members
superpowers silently dropped :) [1]

Can somebody please clarify what we need to do or if this will have any
effect on the new GB election?

[1] "An OpenJDK Member whose Membership has expired and not yet been
renewed may not exercise the privileges of Membership, except that roles
requiring OpenJDK Membership may be retained", so dropped in the sense
we can't exercise them but it's not clear if we need another election or
we can just request after the fact and be reintegrated.
