Oprofile supports Java (see:
http://oprofile.sourceforge.net/doc/setup-jit.html) or at least it did
some years ago when I used it for the last time.
However, depending on your Linux distro, it may be tricky to set up
Oprofile (as far as I know, current version of Ubuntu >=12 don't
support Oprofile anx more).
