Yeah, that's how using JBS typically works.

Like Roger said, often the best course of action before starting to work 
on an issue after filing it, is to discuss an intended change first on 
the most appropriate mailing list, as described in step 2 of the 
contribution guide. [0]

Of course, you likely know all that already, given that you've become an 
Author in a short amount of time, but it's convenient to have it written 
down into list archives every now and then. ;)
