Accelerating the JDK release cadence

No one is debating that git is popular. But popularity on its own does 
not imply goodness ("Eat shit, millions of flies can't be wrong") or a 
good fit for our use-case.

Technology aside, how is the current approach impacting you negatively? 
How will moving the code to Github change your life?
