Both Facebook and Google have been using mercurial to access very large
repositories

and mercurial is currently evolving rapidly (
https://www.mercurial-scm.org/wiki/ChangesetEvolution),
but I don't know what effects this might have on openjdk development long
term.

Openjdk mercurial extensions keep being broken by changes to the internal
python API,
which is disappointing.
