With 18 years of Java development you are likely looking for something more exciting to dig into, but as a general comment I just want to point out that there is a label in the bug database which indicates that an issue is suitable for someone new to the codebase. The label is called 'starter' and you can query the database to find these issues like this: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/issues/?jql=labels%20%3D%20starter%20AND%20status%20not%20in%20(Closed%2C%20Resolved)%20ORDER%20BY%20component%20ASC There are currently mainly starter issues in the JVM area (C++ development) but there are at least a handfull issues in the libraries that would be suitable for Java developers. Even for a very experienced Java developer it might be worth looking at one or two of these just to get into the JDK codebase and see how issues are generally handled in the OpenJDK. I assume you've already seen this page: http://mail.openjdk.java.net/mailman/listinfo If not, it's a good start to subscribe to the lists that you find interesting. Happy hacking! /Jesper > On 12 Aug 2019, at 12:55, Mayur Ramgir wrote: > > Hello Java Lovers, > > This is Mayur Ramgir. If you can report this to github.com/adoptopenjdk/openjdk-build that would be much appreciated, we'll follow up there. FYI - It looks like one of the many recent Apple notarization challenges that many of the downstream providers are facing. The Adopt build team is working with the other major providers to collectively resolve these, it's been an interesting dive into the Rabbit Hole :-). But, after starting server I am getting below message in console : This mailing list is for discussion of the OpenJDK project and is not meant for issues like this. In this case, I think you'll need to find the forum where WebLogic issues are discussed and/or download a version that is supported on newer JDK releases. My limited understanding is that 12.1.3 (from 2014?) requires JDK 7 or JDK 8 but there has been several releases since then. -Alan From dalibor.topic at oracle.com Thu Aug 29 08:27:45 2019 From: dalibor.topic at oracle.com (Dalibor Topic) Date: Thu, 29 Aug 2019 10:27:45 +0200 Subject: Weblogic 12.1.3 startup issue with Openjdk 11.
