<div class="PlainText">I hereby propose the creation of a new Project, Babylon, with me as the Lead<br>

and the Compiler and Core Libraries Groups as sponsors.<br>

<br>

Babylon's primary goal will be to extend the reach of Java to foreign<br>

programming models such as SQL, differentiable programming, machine<br>

learning models, and GPUs. Babylon will achieve this with an enhancement to<br>

reflective programming in Java, called code reflection.<br>

I propose that the initial Reviewers of this Project include Mourad Abbay, <br>

Maurizio Cimadamore, Gary Frost, Ian Graves, Adam Sotona, and Sandhya <br>

Viswanathan.<br>
