Further to this earlier discussion, Dalibor has now completed his work on 
getting javac building using autoconf.  I'm going to look at this over the 
next few days and see if I can combine it with what I have.

Assuming this is successful, can we set up a Mercurial repository on the 
IcedTea servers for this (or perhaps it may be worth having it as part of 
IcedTea itself)?
