No. I haven't tried the deb packages yet, but compiled icedtea from
source (on Fedora 7, x86) and the result can run even the SwingSet2 and
2D demo and jedit (and even netbeans although that doesn't run
flawlessly yet). There are some small drawing issues here and there, but
nothing major.
