There are no such plans as foo-bin-core could not be considered
"Compatible". However doing so would be within distributors
rights under the GPL.
That being said if distros think this would be helpful I hope that
we can come up with a cross distro solution for the dependency graph.
By that I mean that the significance of the decomposition is
shared and analogous:
foo-bin-core: server core (i.e. no X, sound)
foo-bin: arch specific runtime
foo-jre: arch indep runtime
foo-jdk: SDK
Comments from other distros?
