Cool! Seems to work fine here on Fedora 7 x86 with:
$ hg pull http://iced-tea.org/hg/icedtea; hg update
$ make clean; rm -rf openjdk
$ ./configure && make bootstrap
[... wait ...]
IcedTea re-served: openjdk/control/build/linux-i586

Could even run jedit with it, but some of the fonts still look funny.
