This is a very interesting question. Did you realize that
Mac OS X is, itself, built with the GNU toolchain?
In theory this shouldn't be too hard, but the trick is that
OpenJDK is missing the operating specific directory (os/macosx)
and the architecture specific directories (os_cpu/macosx_*).
Do you think there are many OpenJDK *platform* developers
who work on Mac OS X?
