Build fails because ant compiles without -1.5

Well, yes but as far as I know ant is using your system javac.
The only way you can be sure if this is an IcedTea issue or not is to 
try building OpenJDK with the same ant/javac.

My system javac is set to IcedTea; I have not tried otherwise.
