Summary: NRC Java Web Clock doesn't function (openjdk/icedtea
6b14 and icedtea plugin)
Product: IcedTea
Version: unspecified
Platform: PC
URL: http://time5.nrc.ca/webclock_e.shtml
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: IcedTea
AssignedTo: unassigned at icedtea.classpath.org
ReportedBy: christopher.martin at utoronto.ca
Click on either the map for Standard Time or Daylight Saving Time at
http://time5.nrc.ca/webclock_e.shtml, and you'll notice that instead of getting
the current times updated continuously for each timezone, you get a lot of
zeroes.
Reproducible with Debian experimental's openjdk-6-jre and icedtea6-plugin
packages, b14 ("IcedTea build infrastructure (20081217)"). On previous versions
of IcedTea it hasn't worked either, so this isn't a regression. It never worked
with gcjwebplugin instead of the icedtea plugin. It does work with Sun's Java6
on the same machine, same browser (Iceweasel/Firefox 3.0.4).
