Great work Lillian! That was super fast.
To clarify. The icedtea6 mercurial repo is a clone of the icedtea one,
with all patches rebased to openjdk6 tarballs. Hopefully this is the
right setup. We found in-tree mercurial branches pretty confusing in the
past. If it isn't, we will figure something out.
Hopefully icedtea6 will be the stable "use this" branch that tracks
openjdk6 and icedtea will be the "go wild!" branch that tracks openjdk
mainline (would be 1.7).
Just build it myself on fedora 8 x86_64 and smoke testing looks fine.
Even ran netbeans with it. I did find one old issue:
"No window decorations (title bar etc.) x86_64"
http://icedtea.classpath.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=37
So we better double check all old bugs we fixed to see if the reappeared
in icedtea/openjdk6.
Cheers,
Mark
