[Bug 100] Java crashes trying to run topcat

I previously had the java-6-sun package crashing in the same apps.
But after searching around the net I found a bug with a workaround:

In the comment Submitted On 01-JUN-2007 the workaround is described, and it
made the apps work correctly with the sun jvm.

Perhaps the bug is related to the one I find in icedtea java.
