Under OpenSolaris it is not easy building IcedTea

The alsa library is required, but is only needed under Linux.

A hard requirement on the gnome XP package is not easily satisfiable.

also the prerequisites on ecj and libgcj are hard to satisfy.  Can the stock
Java 6 JDK be used?
