The Debian and Ubuntu GCC 4.2.3 packages are based on the ubuntu/gcc-4_2-branch,
which contains a backport of gcc/java, libjava, boehm-gc, libffi, zlib from the
gcc-4_3-branch. I am not aware of java specific regressions compared to the
gcc-4_3-branch.
