On Ubuntu 8.10, using IcedTea plugin version 6b12-0ubuntu6, enabling some sites
to start java applet crashes Firefox 3.0.4 causing any form field including the
browser url and search areas to type backwards. Buttons like "right-arrow" and
"end" do not work either. Closing the firefox normally leaves the java process
lingering, only remedy seems to be killing the java process under firefox...

Reproducible on Lotus Domino WebAccess sites, e.g.
https://bmgt5-notes.rhsmith.umd.edu, but did not try on others. Will add more
sites if/when confirmed...
