Thanks for pointing that out, Adam. I failed to extract everything before my
rgrep. Anyway, the code was certainly not meant to make the compiler happy.
Adam notes correctly that there is not yet a correct definition of
com.sun.image.codec.jpeg.JPEGImageEncoder. However,
com.sun.image.codec.jpeg.JPEGImageDecoder and the associated implementation
class /are/ defined. In other words, decoding JPEGs (e.g. converting them to
PNG) worked fine when I committed; I haven't tested lately. The tests I used
then are attached.
