Description of problem:

Firefox crashes when browsing to a page that has an applet. 
My system is a freshly installed 2009.0 PowerPack for x86_64.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Firefox;
2. Browse to http://www.sjsu.edu/faculty/watkins/tassel.htm

-> crash, firefox 3.0.5 window disappears
