Maybe we should be more clear about what was tested, or was intended to be tested.

 - which configurations were tested? I know I did test hotspot, cacao and
   zero builds, but did not invest the same amount of time in each of
   these tests. Did run the jtreg testsuite. Did do the tests based on
   packages.

 - afaiu a binary build of
   http://cvs.fedoraproject.org/viewvc/devel/java-1.6.0-openjdk/
   was tested (against the TCK?), which differs from the release tarball
   anyway.

There seems to be more than one who was not aware about the release tarballs,
and maybe why these were done at this time.

We started a bit uncoordinated, but didn't change this much during this release.
 But we already did agree to address this at the DevJam.
