Please search existing bugs when submitting a new bug report, including closed
bugs. It is always possible someone else has reported the same/similar issue,
and you can then learn from and/or add to the report.

This is not an openJDK/IcedTea bug. This is a problem with some repos shipping
a vuze package using xulrunner 1.8.1 as a dependency, when it should be using a
newer version. In fact, other users have reported that forcing the package to
ignore the dependency will result in the application using the xulrunner
library automatically installed with Firefox <= 3, thus avoiding the problem.

I have emailed the maintainer of the Packman/OpenSuSe package in particular to
advise them of this problem. If you received vuze from another source, I would
suggest you do similar.

Note that while the crash log is generated by openJDK, it instructs to:

>> # See problematic frame for where to report the bug.

The problematic frame, as noted several lines above, is:

>> # Problematic frame:
>> C [libxul.so+0x3c82f2] _ZN19nsACString_internal6AppendEPKcj+0x28

If there is other information that leads you to believe that this is an openJDK
bug, please reopen the original bug and submit this information.

Thanks!
