Xerxes had the cool idea for hack that allows us to work around the
missing atomic functions: Instead of generating a call to the
@llvm.atomic.cmp.swap intrinsic we create one that calls the
arm_compare_and_swap function that zero already defines.

We'll let you hear how good that works out.
