first iceadtea cross-compile patch: disable sanity checks

Hi,
I just posted the first icedtea patch that needs to be applied during
the and which makes cross-compiling easier.

I can imagine that you will not want to take it in this simple form. On
the other hand I don't want to fix things before knowing what you really
want. :)

So, the patch is open for discussion.
