According to http://openjdk.java.net/projects/jdk7/milestones/, we're
approaching milestone 5. As usual, we'll have a matching IcedTea7
release. This means that, assuming b75 is deemed to be milestone 5,
we'll have a new release (1.12) next Tuesday or Wednesday.

If there's anything you'd like in the release. speak now.

The latest plugin, netx and Shark updates have been forwardported and
I'm testing the latter now.

The ARM port is not yet in IcedTea7. If someone wants to test it on
IcedTea7, we can look at forward-porting the changesets after the
release.

Note that there are some build changes in IcedTea7 that may catch you out:

- Makefile reorganisation:
  * icedtea-ecj is now icedtea-boot and patches/ecj is now
    patches/boot.
  * The icedtea-against-icedtea target is now icedtea-stage2.
    The icedtea-against-ecj target is now icedtea-stage1.
  * We now build one JAR file (an updated rt.jar) for bootstrapping.
     This replaces the proliferation of rt.jar, tools.jar and rt-closed.jar and
     removes the hotspot-tools targets.

All but the latter are also listed in NEWS. I'll update that further
once Shark is building.

I'm sure people will be glad to know that Nimbus (and hence IcedTea7)
no longer requires JIBX in any shape or form :)
