There is full HotSpot support for x86, x86_64 and SPARC on GNU/Linux
and Solaris.  I believe x86 and x86_64 are also supported on Windows.
Interpreted support is available via the Zero assembler port project
instigated at Red Hat for other platforms e.g. PowerPC, ARM, etc.

All of OpenJDK7 is open, hence the name.  There is no Sun JDK any
more.  All of the proprietary Oracle JDK is not open.
