Ant has ways to trick us up and picking a different compiler from the one we
expect at times. But that isn't your problem here. For some reason configure
completely failed to find and java compiler. The errors saying " -cp: command
not found" mean that it tries to run "nothing" and gives it as first argument
"-cp" which the shell then interprets as the command we want to run. I am not
sure how that can happen or why configure didn't just completely fail. Could
you attach your full config.log file to the bug report?
