Top-posting because this is not a query reply..
Just an update on what is happening. 1.1 branching was stalled to
allow caching related changes to go in. Cache manipulation support for
itweb-settings is one of the major features for 1.1 so branching was
pushed ahead till it went it.
All related patches are now in. There are a handful of patches waiting
review/approval, but they are fairly small I don't see any reason to
hold off branching on them -- we will just backport them.
Please let me know if you need me to halt branching for any reason. If
not, I will branch for 1.1 tomorrow (Thursday, April 21st).
Since branching will be pushed ahead, release will be pushed ahead
accordingly. New proposed date is Monday, May 2nd 2011. I've updated
the wiki accordingly.
Cheers,
Deepak
