Oh...wait, just realized that the above (while generally considered a 
correct default) would make mandir=$DATAROOTDIR/man ($prefix/share/man) 
by default so if the omission of /share in the path is intentional (like 
default in-tree build of IcedTea6), you should redefine the default to 
$PREFIX/man.
