I could try that. In the meantime, my patch to the project whose
compilation was failing was accepted, so I closed the bug.
This is still a problem in javac of course, but apparently a
rare one (this is the first bug report I've seen about
this issue) so I'm not sure how valuable it would be to fix,
considering the effort needed to make sure the backport doesn't
break anything else.
